RELIGIOUS EDUCATION (PREP)

MASS ATTENDANCE

As a reminder, beginning in January of 2024, all CATHOLIC students in St. Francis of Assisi School in grades 1 - 8 and ALL P.R.E.P. students will be required to regularly attend Sunday Mass. We will be distributing monthly Mass Attendance forms to every class to be signed by the celebrant at each Mass. Beginning in January, those forms will also be available for download here. If you have any questions about this, please contact Father Smith.

A NOTE FOR HOMESCHOOLING FAMILIES

It is important to keep in contact with the parish in regard to your child’s religious education. Your pastor, Fr. Smith, has requested that all children who are home-schooled receive a midterm and year-end test to monitor their progress. Home-schooled children who are preparing for a sacrament during the year, must not only be tested but must also participate in the Parish Retreat and all events expected from any child receiving a sacrament. Please contact Fr. Smith in the Rectory for more information. Registration for homeschooling may follow the registration period for traditional catechesis.

PLEASE NOTE: Annual Safe Environment instructions are now called KidTalk. Below are the lessons for each grade level. Please download the correct level for your child and work through the lesson with them.
